Radio waves just like sound waves can be canceled out by each other, but only if they are opposites. two phones sending different information won’t cancel each other out.
Even when they are sending the same signal out they (like in the video) won’t cancel out all of the signal due to distance. And that’s only with two signal sources.
In that example there was ONE source of signal fed to two antennas. If you have two or more independent sources, you CAN NOT get steady interference patterns. Only waves travelling from one source by different paths can interfere to create a well-known effect called fading. All digital mobile technologies are dealing with this (look up “spatial diversity”).
yes i knew about 1) but then i saw the MIT VIDEO of microwave addition and subtraction/cancelation, and so i had to stop believeing that fact just because there was simple scientific proof of this occuring, energy waves adding and subtracting which is suppose to be impossible but theory!!, now i have to believe differently, ill see if i can get the link, YOUTUBE SEARCH THIS:
MIT Physics Demo — Microwave Interference
this model cleary shows wave additions and substraction by interference!!
yes thats a very good description! but there is the addition and subtraction of waves at the same frequency, theres a good mit video of two oppposite frequecies causing cancelation of the signal and also the addition, really the microwaves going out to all phones would add at some point along the millions of micrwave paths going out right! so it might be safe at some place but the microwaves combine at certain points making the energy in a zone extremely power ful!! thats when we get danger!
technically could the microwaves use the handsfree wires as wave guides to allow the microwaves to still travel to your head? i know it wouldnt be to efficient in transfer, but te microwaves could couple to the wire right? i think im gonna use speaker phone so the whole range is contained at the phone.
The resonant frequency is always connected with concrete type of molecules (O2, H2O, N2 etc.). Microwave ovens use ca 2,5 GHz which is the resonant frequency of water, thus causing good efficiency of energy transformation (RF –> heat), because all food contains some water. Other frequencies (both higher and lower) heat the water much less.
The wired earphone doesn’t emit any RF waves. The wireless (bluetooth) is using very similar frequency as the mobile phone and (depending on the conditions) similar RF power.
The sidebar says to “use a hands free phone” to be safe… Isnt the hands free device stuck on your ear still emitting radiation into your head, and usuall NeveR leaves your head, since it mounts on your ear>???
people forget about wave addition in all high frequency devices, remember if multiple waves are going out on the same carrier frequency then at some point the waves interfere to make huge energy gains or cancelation right? just look at the mit videos of microwaves addition and subtraction! its about resonance of biological structures as well, remember radio is very safe because u are not in the resonant frewuency of the energy! wake up low frequency is safe, high frequnecy is dangerous!
actually, if you look at the following clip: ‘Scientists speak out on mobile phone, cancer link-2′ you will see that ACRBR is indeed funded by Telstra. it may not be a smoking gun, but it surely does not look good.
its equal to a tobacco company hiring scientists to prove that the chemicals that they put in cigerattes dont kill people.
I just downloaded this app for my BlackBerry Curve-it works great! I called one of my friends and the call quality was great.
This is a great service-and its really cool that verizon has it. I have had a lot of good experieces with Skype in the past and its good to see it on my BlackBerry.
So I’m on Verizon with my BlackBerry Curve 8330, and download the app. But then I can’t run it because the error tells me “Skype mobile can only be used on Verizon Wireless phones.” My only option is “Close”.
Did Verizon really FORGET to that they just bought Alltel, and that this is now hardware of theirs that needs to be included??

Alot of you are misinformed about the Verizon Skype Merger. It is still possible to use Skype on other carriers but the version of Skype for Verizon offers alot of added functionality. The biggest of which being the fact that Skype for Verizon will run on its 3G network as opposed to strictly wifi on other carriers networks. This is a good thing because the 3G networks of AT&T and T-Mobile are largely composed of popsicle sticks and chewing gum.
Excellent! I have both Skype and Verizon and didn’t know they merged until now. Too cool! Verizon is the only company I’ll use bcs they have the BEST customer service. You couldn’t pay me to use AT&T.
Skype’s being a real dick about the whole partnership with Verizon though. They pulled their apps off the Windows Marketplace (for windows mobile), the Android Marketplace, several other mobile OS’s, and maybe even their iPhone app soon. Hopefully they put them back up soon, maybe they’re just updating them.
@codymws To be internationally roaming on 3G and make unlimited calls back to the States.. no more wifi scouting or surprise roaming charges.. yes, for the U.S. based world traveler, that’s a total game changer, and that big of a deal.
other country use a different type of wireless for there phones so unless you have a world edition pone your phone will not work in most other countries anyway
More info on health risks check out my channel “EMRinformation”
Text or DIE!
hand free sets are full of radiation
thats why you dont just BLAB on the phone for 8 hours a day!!! im only on the phone for about once every 3 days for like 2 minutes. HERP DERP

stay in school.
The radiation is still harmful to your body, wherever the phone is, not going into your head is a little better, but not the answer entirely.
hands free emits radiation but not as much as a phone. its a hella small amount compared to using your phone
Dr. Mercola stocks “Blue Tube headsets”; they’re built by using air tubes so that the radiation doesn’t pass through. Just Google: Blue Tube headsets

this model cleary shows wave additions and substraction by interference!!
1) RF waves from independent sources (e.g. several phones) can’t combine in a constructive addition due to phase variances.
2) Cell phones uses spread spectrum so the RF energy on each single frequency is practically zero.
3) RF intensity decreases quadratically with the distance.
4) Phones normally transmit at ca 0.01 watts. Thats almost nothing.
Just to draw a comparison: in a microwave oven is 700 watts of power with intensity increased 10000 times by the resonator chamber.

just look up who’s the director of The ACRBR – ohh Rodney and its created with Telstra funding and Telstra lab equipment
No, Tesltra does not sponsor Rodney Croft. The data is all over the place on this and no clear scientific consensus exists. Don’t just make stuff up.
The warning signs are there
WOW LOVELY
i wont be impressed until i can make mobile to mobile (not mobile to computer) skype calls for free to my international friends!
Lets say that my skype application is running in the background… will i be notificated if ever someone calls me on skype ?
VERIZON ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this shit is sooo BOSS
@thecoolbrian he’s your evil twinnnn! XD
who the fuck is zack

It’s not good thing.
Skype is avaible from when i remember.
Now only verizon users can use it.
Suck
It starts at the end of March, and im getting my Droid tuesday. My boyfriend lives in England till next year and im so excited to use this with him

Verizon rocks! Love this new feature, can’t believe it’s free though. Yay!
…there’s gotta be a catch somewhere
How soon will this be effective ?
The most condescending voice-over I’ve heard in a long, long time.

WHENNNN ?????

@worldwidejase: is it really that big of deal?
